finnair economy class inflight food
inflight food on board in the economy class of Finnair's Airbus A319-100, OH-LVC, on our way from Helsinki to Manchester, November 2008. airplane food consisted a meaty thing (it's not as suspicious as it sounds) with rice and carrots, bun, water and a chocolate. Intercontinental flights – Economy Class
finnair serve a generous and tasty hot meal for Economy Class passengers. The meal comprises a salad, main course, cheese and dessert. AY also serve an appetising hot snack before landing on almost all intercontinental flights. Delicious snacks are also available for purchase on all flights.On flights to Asia and the United States, the Economy Class meal service will be improved and the main meal will be more abundant than before. On longer flights in European Economy Class, passengers will be offered a substantial deli-type filled bread or salad free of charge, with coffee, tea or a soft drink. In Finnair's short-haul traffic within Finland, the Nordic countries and the Baltic area as well as on flights to Poland and St. Petersburg, coffee, tea and juice will be served. This service will be supplemented with a diverse range of snacks for sale.
AY offer a large selection of beverages in Economy Class on all flights to China, Japan, South Korea and India. Soft drinks, juices, water, beer, and white and red wine are served free of charge – other alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.
On flights to New York and Bangkok, AY serve non-alcoholic drinks, beer, and white and red wine free of charge with meals. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at all other times.
On our international flights you can order a special meal for health or religious reasons. Special dietary needs are considered both in the ingredient selection and preparation of the meal.
European flights
finnair Business Class passengers on our European flights depends on the flight time and time of day. The meal is complemented with a diverse selection of quality beverages.
On longer European flights finnair serve a substantial hot or cold deli food for Economy Class passengers. On shorter flights to and from the Scandinavian and Baltic countries, Poland and St. Petersburg we serve coffee, tea or juice. We also offer a wide variety of snacks for purchase on our European flights, flight time permitting. For Economy Class passengers, soft drinks, juice and water are served free of charge. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.
