On 21st April, transavia.com and Prague Airport celebrated a launch of the new air service between Prague and Rotterdam. Passengers departing from Prague Airport on the inaugural flight were welcomed with tasty refreshments at check-in desks. Transavia.com, the Dutch low-cost airline, became the first carrier to serve the direct connection between Prague and the second largest city in the Netherlands. The Rotterdam route will be operated four times a week - on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, by a Boeing 737-700 aircraft with a capacity of 149 seats. For further information and bookings please visit the transavia.com website.
Connections between Prague and the Netherlands have grown markedly over the last year. Rotterdam is the third Dutch city with a regularly scheduled direct connection to Prague, following on Amsterdam and Eidhoven.
