ANA domestic business class seat comfort

ANA Super Seat Premium is ANA's leading product in its home market of Japan.

Designed to be an 'elegant space to unwind in the skies', All Nippon Airways NH domestic business class offers customers business class levels of service, space and comfort. In response to feedback from Super Seat Premium users, Premium Class offer an increased seat pitch of 50 inches (127cm) – up from the present 38 inches (97cm) – 10% wider seats, and a new seating configuration on 767 aircraft of 2-1-2, compared with the present 2-2-2.

Premium Class will be rolled out on across 70% of the ANA fleet of jet aircraft by the end of fiscal year 2009 (March 31, 2010), including ANA's 737 Next Generation fleet of b737-700 and b738 aircraft*. At present, new business class seats is available on all other jets, namely: 747-400, 777-200/b777 300er and 767-300er aircraft. Between 21 and eight seats will be offered in domestic business class , according to the aircraft size.

In addition, customers expressed a wish to be served meals on all flights, as opposed to the 'tea and cakes' currently offered outside the traditional morning, midday and evening mealtimes. They also asked for lounge access. In answer, sandwiches, fruit, 'onigiri' rice-balls, cakes and other light items will be served, with the present meal service offered at main mealtimes. To add to the sense of refinement, customers will be welcomed into ANA lounges at Tokyo Haneda and Osaka Itami airports when using Premium Class.
Amenities such as our international flight business class slippers are provide for your utmost comfort. In addition, blankets made especially for Premium Class, hypoallergenic pillows and high fidelity quality headphones are also provided.

Super Seat Premium Customers will be also invited to use ANA lounges at Haneda and Itami from December 1 this year until March 31 next year, as a prelude to the introduction of Premium Class. ANA Diamond Service and Platinum Service members, as well as other Star Alliance Gold members who have been cleared to fly on ANA Group flights are entitled to relax until boarding time in the comfort of ANA's airport lounges. Members boarding Star Alliance flights will have access to as many as 500 Star Alliance member airport lounges worldwide.

A merlot from Shigekazu Misawa of the Chuo Budoshu winery, one of Japan's greatest winemakers. A blend of grapes grown in two regions in Yamanashi Prefecture, this wine exudes gentle flowery aromas on the nose. Tannins, acidity, and alcohol are softly and skillfully balanced. Many similarities to appellations from St-Émilion, Bordeaux.

A chardonnay from one of Japan's most prominent wineries. This vintage appeared in a popular Japanese manga series on wine that became a hit in France. Grapes are primarily grown in sun-drenched Akeno, in Yamanashi Prefecture. Hints of sweet pineapple float in citrus freshness. A most elegant wine, with tender, mild acidity that spreads and leaves a faint sweetness in its wake.
