Air asia starting Kolkata Bangkok flight
One thing we did notice was the overwhelming queries and suggestions on where AirAsia should fly to next. Everyone has a wish list. Believe us, we know. Some want us to be able to fly to Istanbul, others to Shanghai but all wanting to pay low fares of course!
So now is your chance! We want to hear your comments on where you wish AirAsia would be able to fly to next. Imagine a world of low-cost travel where flying to any destination on low fares is possible?
Air Asia is planning Kolkata-Bangkok direct flight,The Malaysian low-cost carrier plans to launch flight service to other destinations of the country like Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Amritsar from Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur in the future.
I'm wondering how come jetstar's A320 can fly from SIN-TPE but AirAsia can't?
TPE is already become the hottest place to visit.
2nd places is Korean & Japan
Korea -> Incheon (ICN)
Japan -> Nagoya - Chūbu Centrair (NGO)
-> Osaka - Kansai (KIX)
(Really give up to Tokyo-Narita International Airport due to over high landing fee?)
3rd places is USA
-Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
-Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD)
-New York - (JFK or EWR)
(Wondering can A330 fly over transpacific?)
New destinations:
India (huge potential there!)
Sydney
Japanese cities
More Chinese cities (perhaps Beijing chongqing guangzhou)
European cities (don't focus on London only, consider low yield, holiday maker marketsl perhaps Athens, Madrid, Austria, Scandinavian cities).
Potential routes:
Bali is a good hub for connection, make some more connections out of there, such as to Australian cities. Australians love to come to Bali, maybe Perth to Bali, Adelaide to Bali, even Melbourne.
Jakarta-Singapore is a great addition too.
Increase frequency:
Kuala Lumpur-Alor Star KUL to Hong Kong
Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur-Singapore(huge potential to capitalise the route)
Bangkok-Singapore
I think that's all for now, these are what comes on top of my head. Any blogger agree with me?

Boeing 216-seat 767-300ER aircraft, will offer customers the option to experience Delta's award-winning BusinessElite service, including inflight meals offerings from celebrity chef Michelle Bernstein and original wine selections chosen by Delta's Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson. Business class also features on-demand personal in-seat entertainment boasting more than 20 first-run and popular classic movies, a variety of TV programs, thousands of music titles and a suite of video games.
I just was on 767-300ER for JFK-ATH and ATH-JFK this past week. Neither plane had AVOD in economy class. It was really frustrating for a 10 hr flight to have to watch the movies that were selected and hard to see as the quality of the TV are pure and outdated. I am an elite member of NWA and truly enjoy the A330 because they have AVOD. I hope the plan is to install AVOD on all 767-300ER since they are used for the long haul international. Until Delta decides to put AVOD on all 767-300ER I will avoid this aircraft in the future for my international travel. Hopefully that doesn’t mean using another airline.
